EPAM Australia is looking for a qualified Economist to act as the
responsible for our Australian operations and the APAC region.
What You’ll Do
Investigating international and national economic situations, impact on IT industry and suggesting pricing models for commercial deals Analyzing wage inflation and its effect on the company’s performance Researching, analyzing and assessing the effect of labour market migration within IT-related skillsets on wage inflation in Australia and APAC countries Analyzing economic trends and advising on tax implications, pricing models, and exchange rates Forecasting market changes for short/long-term budgeting Leading and conducting in-depth analysis of business performance versus business goals; setting up yearly business targets Commercial review and support of APAC deals/projects (Australia, Hong Kong, China, India, Singapore, Japan, Viet Nam, Malaysia) Maintenance of strong financial and governance controls overall business operations in Australia and APAC region
What You Have
Economics / Accounting Master Degree or equivalent CIMA certification or equivalent – essential 10+ years of Economist / Finance work experience 5 + years in Pricing and Commercial modelling of the deals in IT industry 10+ years of CRM Experience – must have 12+ years of IT Industry experience – essential 7+ Years of SAP ERP (FICO Finance and Controlling) – nice to have Advanced user level of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access) Experience with PowerBI – nice to have
