We are looking for someone with market leading skills to procure and manage multiple dev and test environments, these environments will integrate with upstream and downstream systems and used for our software. You will have an eye for detail, and exceptional communication skills to lead the environment processes for all our software development team. You and the team will be building our next generation capital and liquidity systems, transforming our platform and processes, and delivering trusted, timely data.

In this role you will:
Work closely with the existing development team, as well as more broadly with stakeholders across Macquarie.
You will be comfortable working in an Agile team under a DevOps model, interacting with stakeholders (both technical and business), and most importantly, will be able to apply problem solving skills to achieve great results.
Define and own the release management and deployment processes.
Uplift the developer’s experience. Drive the analysis, identification, prioritization, and implementation of improvements of DevOps processes.
Develop and maintain support strategies, operational standard procedures, and continuous integration and continuous delivery strategies, applying best practice methodologies and industry recognised systems, processes, and standards to meet defined business needs.
You will have experience in:
Developing and deploying a first-class developer experience in a regulated environment
Incremental delivery and seamless transition to target state
Running multiple environments for continuous delivery
Ability to communicate release lifecycle timelines between different teams, and manage complex large environments
Experience with continuous integration
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
The following experience would be nice to have:
Java and/or Python
Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, Cloudbees/Jenkins, Jira, Git, Confluence
