About the role
We have an exciting 6 month parental leave cover (to June 2023)opportunity for a National Bids and Tender Manager, to work ontenders, bids and proposals from concept to completion, to help usretain and expand our growing client base. This Sydney-based roleis part of our National Marketing & Business Development teamand will suit someone who wants to be an important part of ourgrowth and business development efforts - a trusted advisor topartners in winning and retaining new business. There is a realopportunity to take a lead in this critical area of developing ourbusiness. A “can do” attitude to getting things done,along with a collaborative and pragmatic approach are all qualitiesthat will make this role a success.
In this role you will:
Lead, develop and coordinate large national and smallerstate-based submissions
Work with our outsourced provider on selected strategicallysignificant client pursuits
Project manage and write tenders, capability statements,professional profiles and related marketing collateral
Support and facilitate partners’ assessment ofopportunities through rigorous qualification of opportunities(bid or no bid)
Liaise with our partners and their teams to develop andwrite content within agreed time frames
Proactively manage our panel renewal opportunities andtimelines
Develop and maintain our tender content library and bestpractice methodology
Conduct bid de-brief interviews with clients andinternally, and disseminate feedback throughout the firm.
We are looking for someone with:
Previous practical bid management experience inprofessional services, ideally in a legal environment
An understanding of our business, and agile enough toquickly develop valued professional relationships with partnersand other key stakeholders
A proven record of producing a range of content for variousplatforms and purposes in a deadline driven environment
Persuasive communication skills; both in writing and inperson
Enthusiasm, ideas, initiative and a team player
