Are you an energetic and enthusiastic person wanting to join our Customer Experience team in Evans Head? Our Customer Experience Officers are the face of our Council, and this role will see you interacting with the local residents as well as visitors to the area and the role of the Customer Experience Officer is to provide efficient and reliable administrative services to the Community and assist in promoting the Evans Head Library.

We are looking for

A customer-focused professional who is wanting to make a difference in the Community whilst providing high quality customer service in accordance with best practice. You are experienced in customer service and understand the importance of supporting our wide range of stakeholders in a professional manner and positively responding to changing priorities and business needs. You will be a team player and use your initiative to promote the delivery of community programs and services aligning with Richmond Valley Council's objectives and goals.

About the Role

Part time: 38-hour fortnight including alternate Saturdays

Salary: Range from $58,032 to $66,736 pa pro rata + 10.5% super

The primary purpose of the role is to provide excellence in customer service for Richmond Valley Council via a range of communication channels, including in person, telephone and online.

This includes:
Providing cashiering, customer service and library services to the community, in accordance with Council policies and procedures, for all Departments of Council at the Evans Head office and the Casino office as required
Responding to 80% of customer enquiries at the first point of contact
Responding to customer enquiries in a courteous, helpful and professional manner providing accurate information promptly and clearly in accordance with Council policies and procedures
Providing efficient and effective administrative support in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements
Actively multi-skilling across other areas of Council's work as required and applying a flexible and adaptable approach to deliver on Council's commitments outlines in our delivery and operational plans
