Overview:

Gulf Coast Paper, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a position open in San Antonio, Texas. We have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager available! You will oversee all aspects of Sales and Operations of Office and Warehouse associates.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management

Lead Operations Staff to ensure optimal execution across warehouse and transportation departments.
Evaluate weekly performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
Direct and guide the team to drive efficiencies (loading, unloading, slotting, accuracy, performance, etc.).
Hire, coach and manage disciplinary actions with Operations staff.
Meet and work with manufacturer reps who visit the branch on a regular basis
Conduct monthly sales meetings with the 7 outside sales reps
Responsible for data integrity of inventory, quantity, location, and value.
Organize and maintain history files for a necessary period and/or until any issues are resolved.

Financial Acumen

Assist in the development of annual operating plan in direct alignment with Company goals.
Maximizing revenue and manage P&L for the branch.
Leverage KPIs to gauge performance and create action plans
Prepare monthly summary for financial results vs budget

Sales Leadership

Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
Participate in the development and implementation of service & productivity improvement initiatives to increase customer satisfaction & reduce operating expense.
Respond to customer or vendor questions or complaints to resolve issues regarding sale and/or distribution services.
Participate in monthly sales meetings with outside sales representatives.
Meet and build relationships with manufacturer representatives who visit the branch on a regular basis.
Maintain and cultivate relationships with customers who are not assigned to an outside sales rep (House Accounts).
Assist in sales team management and analysis of accounts.
Qualifications:

Qualifications

College Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience within industry, managing warehouse and office staff
You are reliable, personable and enjoy building relationships while leading from the front lines
