Job Description

What will you do?

Be a local lead responsible for monthly global business reporting cycle including data collection (structured and unstructured data), data validation, report production and review
Use of VBA macros, SQL, Microsoft Access database, KPI Datamart (Oracle) to generate monthly client KPI, MIS and Oversight Reporting
Maintenance of EUC, Microsoft Access Database and SQL to update changes according to client request
Work closely with respective Global Client Operations business lines, ensure data and information received and obtained from business SME, business applications are complete, accurate and delivered on time
Meet with global client managers to discuss new client reporting requirements and change requirements
Gain a thorough understanding of metric production and ownership across all locations and work with the Measurement and Performance team to centralize and standardize the reporting to ensure global consistency and best practice management
Work closely with other business teams on the data collection, analysis and preparation of various ad hoc requests for management insights
Actively collaborate with IT development teams and operational teams to automate data collection processes and management
Develop and review management systems (EUC) in collaboration with stakeholders
Assist in formalizing operational procedures and documents tasks

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Undergraduate Business, Finance, or Statistics degree with 3+ years’ experience in financial services, preferably in Transfer Agency or Asset Management Services industry
Analytical thinking, problem solving skills, curiosity and critical thinking when analyzing big data
Advanced MS Excel (comprehensive formulas, pivot table, VBA Macro) and PowerPoint presentation skills
Data mining and reporting skill, with ability to explore new technologies to enhance the delivery of operating
Outstanding business and financial acumen with strong analytical, coordination, communication and presentation skills
As a guideline to ensure a reasonable time is spent in a role, you are expected to have at least 12 months of service in your current role for any lateral move.

Nice-to-have

Strong knowledge of banking products, processes (Fund Accounting, Custody, Shareholder Services, OTC …) and systems (Ruby, Webuploader, GRS, TLC …)
Project Management skill
May need to supervise/coordinate more junior resource activities and share experience
Experience with Client Experience and/or data automation would be considered an asset

Job Summary
What is the opportunity?
Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographic time zones. The country employs a global operating model to maximize efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/5 operations.
In this role, you will report to the Director, Measurement & Performance, Client Operations, and be responsible for monthly data collection and analysis for management and client KPI reporting deliverables. You will be working with all Client Operations business lines and support client managers on Client KPI related inquiries and requests. In addition, you will work with team members and data experts on initiatives to improve data management, automation and visualization.
Working hours: 2:00PM – 11:00PM (flexibility required due to time zone difference with Europe and Canada) 90% Business Days WFH
