Reporting to the Urban Engineering Director we are currently recruiting for a System Deployment and Integration Manager. The System Deployment and Integration Manager will work on the Melbourne Airport Rail project. This is a transformational public transport project connecting Melbourne Airport to Victoria’s regional and metropolitan train network for the first time. This role will be based in Melbourne on a Permanent, full time basis.

In this role you will:

Define and lead system design and integration of signaling solutions and overall engineering coordination
Use deployment phases under Quality, Costs, Delay and Safety aspects
Define Engineering Management Plan, Migration strategy 
Communicate and manage target deliveries, scope and status in line with project roadmap
Identify, define, control and manage system interfaces, including electrical, civil, operational control system (OCS) interface and software
Lead signaling system integration activities and support system integration team for overall project system design.

To be successful in this role you will need:

10 years or more experience in Rail systems design and application, experience or familiarity in application of multiple engineering disciplines to Transportation systems.
Good verbal/written communications skills for effective interfacing with customer and drive of technical team members.
Experience in CBTC system solution.
