We are looking for a motivated Administration Assistant/Paralegal to join our growing team in our Perth City office. The position is offered as permanent, full-time from our head office in the CBD, working 8.15am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The role involves proactively providing chargeable and non-chargeable support to our legal teams while assisting with the administrative management of a file load of personal injury matters predominantly across workers compensation, but also includes some public liability, criminal injuries compensation and road injury claims, under the guidance of two paralegals and solicitor, as well as general administrative duties in order to obtain maximum compensation for clients, from file opening to closure. The successful applicant will have: Previous experience in a law firm (particularly in personal injury litigation) will be highly regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer literacy including the ability to learn new systems and platforms. High level of organisation, time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team. Ability to work autonomously as well as follow processes and direction from supervisors. An enthusiastic approach to work.
