Location: Epping, Cape TownRequirements:Relevant Tertiary qualification and CA(SA)8 years of experience in a financial leadership role managing a medium-sized finance team.Advanced Excel SkillsAcumatica (ERP) experience is preferredDemonstrated and proven track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes, management information, and financial reporting.Knowledge and experience in all areas of financial planning, analysis, and overall financial management.Proven experience in planning, forecasting, evaluation, monitoring, and reporting.Proven and sound financial and risk management skills.Responsibilities:Responsible for managing the Finance division and for implementing tactical initiatives to support strategic decisions.Oversee and manage the financial operations of the Group.Contribute and participate in strategic and tactical processes in the business, including financial modeling to support new business development, and other strategic initiatives.Provide financial analysis and insights to management regarding the historic and forecast performance of the business, through the management accounting process.Maintain high-quality financial disciplines and controls throughout the Group and ensure that measures to mitigate risk are effectively implemented.Develop and maintain systems, policies, and procedures necessary to ensure effective and efficient financial management of the Group.Coordinate and facilitate governance and compliance across the company in accordance with industry and the Groups frameworks in order to monitor and mitigate financial and other risks.Preparation of financial and management reports and ensuring the financial results of the business is complete, accurate, and timeously recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards, relevant legislation, and Company guidelines.Manage the external Audit and preparation of the annual financial statements.Ensure that the financial and reporting obligations of the Factoring House (Investec) regarding customers are met timeously and accurately on a monthly basis.Ensure a sustainable working capital position by applying systematic cash flow forecasting, collection and payment controls, and rigorous cash flow management metrics.Continuously identify and implement improvements regarding processes and reporting.Custodian of profitability and efficiency through oversight of inventory procurement, Forex hedging in line with group policy, and gross margin by management of selling prices.Overseeing annual stock take and calculating the provision for obsolescence.Superuser of ERP system includes working with consultants to continuously improve and customize the system, as well as support users with any issue they might experience or identify.Facilitate and finalize the Annual BBEEE audit.Preparing of all Provisional tax and Income tax as well as Dividend Withholding tax calculations/returns.Solving tax queries from the South African Revenue Services.
