About the Opportunity

As an experienced Marketing Manager you will play a dual role in driving demand for PwC’s technology consulting services for specific alliance partners, and building our brand through our regional ASEANZ Analyst Relations program. It is a dynamic combination of program management, stakeholder relationships, creative output, strategic thinking and tactical marketing. Your focus will be on two key areas:

Alliances Marketing

To elevate and drive PwC’s positioning, and market demand for one of our priority technology Alliance Partners through various go-to-market channels. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and team to drive the execution of specific campaigns and initiatives under the technology alliance's marketing program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and defining opportunities to align to, and leverage, our alliance partner marketing programs

  • Working closely with technology consulting teams and PwCs external Alliance partners to co-create and execute impactful marketing plans (alliance specific, and more broadly), and integrated campaigns that are leading edge, leveraging the latest marketing technologies to create a greater client experience e.g. social listening, analytics, etc.

  • Leading and demonstrating marketing tactics across several functional areas of the marketing mix including: brand, digital and social marketing, collateral, thought leadership and sales tools, events, etc. and supporting marketing strategies

  • Identifying opportunities for replication and reuse of strategic activity to drive scale and traction

  • Actively participating in a virtual team of alliance marketers, and ensuring all marketing plans are aligned to local marketing strategies and our Consulting positioning

  • Building and maintaining relationships with technical subject matter experts and leadership internally and externally, including effectively navigating a large organisation

  • Using your strong writing and storytelling skills to translate complex concepts into easy to understand, compelling messages to support a point of view that senior business leaders can quickly grasp

  • Understanding the key business issues our clients are facing and aligning our go-to-market strategy and point-of-view(s) to those issues

  • Completing marketing impact reports including both a quantitative and qualitative analysis on how marketing programs contribute to impact on client relationships, the sales pipeline and brand awareness/equity

  • Developing strong relationships with Marketing & Sales peers, Alliance partner marketing counterparts and leadership

  • ASEANZ Alliances Analyst Relations

    Working closely with the Analyst Relations function to support the Asia Pacific Analyst Relations programs which center on relationship building and communication strategies with ICT analyst firms for the whole of PwC and its Network firms. You will leverage your technology-savvy experience to support the Asia Pacific Analyst Relations Director in driving the Analyst Relations Alliance program for Australia, Southeast Asia and New Zealand (ASEANZ). 

    Key Responsibilities

  • Support Alliance Analyst Relations activities: for example, Analyst Webinars, Analyst Days, Analyst Briefings, Analyst Inquiries

  • Work with Asia Pacific Analyst Relations Lead to track and produce timely Analyst Insights to the Asia Pacific territory CLT and wider Asia Pacific firm

  • Assist in the operations of AR: ensuring AR output is shared across the right channels internally

  • About you

    You have a minimum of 5 years experience with formal qualifications in Marketing or Communications Studies and broad business knowledge.

    Key skills and experience:

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and openness to learning, and an ability to take initiative. A sound knowledge of business, marketing and/or communications.

  • Previous experience working in Market Research, Analyst or Consulting firms will be an advantage. Alliance technology, Agency, Big 4 or large boutique professional services experience or technology marketing experience is very strongly preferred.

  • Excellent stakeholder management

  • Excellent Project Management Skills

  • Work across communications platforms, such as social media, video and/or digital

  • Developing and sustaining relationships with peers and subordinates;

  • proven track record executing go-to-market strategies and positioning marketing as a key enabler to business growth.

  • Ideally you can comfortably use Salesforce marketing cloud reporting and dashboards and are digitally proficient in platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google apps for work.

  • experienced team player who is a self-starter, comfortable with both strategy and execution, a strong communicator with the confidence to negotiate and persuade with strong client and commercial acumen.
