About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators to work at our Outside School Hours Care program which is located at Carlingford. Flexibility and reliability to turn up to a shift with short notice will be required.
This is a Casual Position, 20 hours per week, and would suit those people studying or working part time.
Duties
A role in Out of School Hours Care is both rewarding and fun with the opportunity to work in a creative way with school age children.
A Casual Childcare Educator for an Outside of School Hours Care program has;
- An ability to build relationships with children, their families and school staff;
- A commitment to ensuring all policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks are met; as well as
- An understanding about safeguarding children and provision of a safe work environment.
- Attend training as required
Requirements
- An outgoing and enthusiastic nature and willingness to learn best practice approaches
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with the team and with children aged 5 - 12.
- Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check
- Experience in a related service sector or qualifications in the children’s services sector would be highly regarded
