The Opportunity

This position works out of our Kista, Sweden location in the Neuromodulation Division.

Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

The Tender & Commercial Manager (T&CM) owns the tender management process and drives commercial execution through the whole tender management cycle. In this role you will provide commercial and tender management leadership, guidance and functional expertise within the Nordic and Baltic and Polish Neuromodulation organization and support the execution of the overall commercial growth strategy in the region.

What You'll Do

* Own the tender management process and secure process compliance throughout the organization.
* Provide education and coaching to sales and marketing on commercial and tender management issues and opportunities.
* Lead strategical tender shaping projects to ensure alignment with overall growth strategy in the region,
* Lead all tender submissions and secure high qualitative tender bids.
* Monitor and manage contract compliance and work in collaboration with local sales teams to maximize sales and profitability.
* Manage price / volume and mix to secure a healthy pricing structure within the different markets as well as maximizing our success in upcoming tender opportunities.
* Build trust-based, collaborative, and sustainable relationships with key non-clinical stakeholders in order to support & influence commercial outcomes.
* Gain greater understanding of local stakeholders, barriers, and constraints in order to build commercial solutions to capitalise on opportunities identified.
* Meet with customers on a quarterly basis for contract review to ensure compliance and action any remedial activity that is required.
* Undertake customer meetings and tender de-briefs as required, leading on any resulting actions and activities.
* Analyze tender submissions and competitor activities as well as monitor general tender trends.
* Lead diverse commercial and tender management projects and support the Country Manager in executing the commercial strategy for Nordics and Baltics and Poland

Qualifications

* A university business degree, or equivalent
* Business acumen and a competitive solution-oriented mindset is essential
* Experience from building and executing on short- and long-term commercial plans with a successful track record.
* Experience from a sales or commercial role within the Healthcare Industry is essential.
* Experience from tender management
* Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and still create engagement from stakeholders
* Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and influencing skills.
* Excellent general computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Fluent in Swedish language and excellent skills in the English language.
