We are looking for someone curious and motivated to join our Inside Sales team. You will grow the pipeline for New Relic Sales by engaging with prospects and customers to move them forward in the sales process. This is a meaningful position focused on net new logos, so you'll have an excellent opportunity to develop and advance your career in sales.

What you'll do

* Actively engage new leads by phone, email, and various professional social channels to attract new customers to New Relic.
* Pre-qualify opportunities via inbound by assessing mutual interest and purchasing power
* Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to match solutions with identified leads
* Develop and run pipeline activity and supervise sales activity against assigned quotas
* Achieve quarterly quotas of meetings and net new logo sales
* Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, new technologies, and competitors
* Effectively use and other sales tools to engage prospective buyers into value-driven conversations
* Explain the value of New Relic's platform to potential customers in alignment with their role and business objectives

This role requires

* 2+ years of sales experience
* Experience within the Observability space
* Validated background with a track record of continually exceeding quota targets
* Ability to uncover information on customer/prospect calls around business processes, critical success factors, and competition to deliver a valuable business solution
* Entrepreneurial problem solver, with good judgment skills and proven track record in solving sophisticated business challenges
* Advanced critical thinking skills
* Excellent presentation skills, business writing skills and oral communication skills
* Strong understanding of is required
* Passion for sales

Bonus points if you have

* Prior BDR/SDR SaaS sales experience
* Consultative, solution experience selling software products
