Description

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Achievement of TMS, IMS and PnL as per growth objectives by country i.e Bangladesh, Srilanka , Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives
* Ensuring Product registrations as per timelines and drive efficient execution of demand generation programs to increase Rxber/ and consumer base and maximize per capita
* Build strategic relationships with KOLs and hospital stakeholders to expand Abbott influence, including leveraging these relationships to gain access to and build relationships with new customers
* Design and Deploy in Store Retail execution & Localized Trade & Ethical Marketing Initiatives as country specific needs
* Evaluating the sales reps (ethical and trade) on training need analysis on Knowledge / Behavior / Performance and assigning them to specific training programs for improving their effectiveness and performance
* Ensure implementation of SFE norms and standards set - thru appropriate HCP and retail execution strategies
* Control attrition and build a motivated, and committed sales team thru a culture of achievement orientation, recognition and reward
* Work in tandem with the Trade team in collaboration for demand fulfilment objectives, provide insights to trade team for Pharmacies distribution opportunities
* Lead initiatives to improve Brand mix, profitability & control on operational cost of the team by taking corrective action with help of finance & line manager.
* Hold the team accountable to execution at the territory and account levels through observation, and on-going coaching of supervisors and HCP reps
* Maintaining strong field discipline & inculcating Norms with timelines adherence. Monitor business and financial risks and exposure to the company via local and Abbott compliance/policy
* Build and execute a regional specific strategy to generate opportunities and drive growth across customer types, to establish Abbott as the brand of choice among HCPs in the region
* Anticipating & resolving the problems, before they turn out to be "Issue" in near future. It surely needs Co-ordination with all support function; escalate, if unresponsive.
* Build adaptability with driving results, making decisions in the face of ambiguity and evolving information, while thinking strategically about execution
* Drive ethical field force effectiveness and efficiency in assigned territory via key levers such as performance management, KPIs, Resource allocations and sales force deployment
* Gain MS in covered market by focusing doctor & Rx generation through high quality engagement /activations, special focus on Adult and Diabetes as per plan objectives
* Manage good working relationships with Distributor and have healthy pipelines across Brands /Sub Distributors in Ex-India markets
* Plan POs, LOC and ensure receivables/payables in line with Finance policy. Monitoring and controlling A&P and SG&A spends in the international markets (Over Heads and Trade Marketing)

Minimum Education

MBA/PGDM

Experience Details

15 + years

* Experience and a proven track record in sales with a stint as SLM in Ethical /trade and international markets
* Exposure to having worked in a business involving both Rx and retail driven trade environment
* Working in Ex India markets will have added advantage
* Should have high analytical abilities.
* Must have understanding of financial and legal regulations
* Should be a people's person with Strong team building/ nurturing and mentoring capabilities.
