POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Sales and Business Development, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for sales in a specific geographical region and the primary point of contact for the customer. You must have demonstrated the ability to support existing customers and acquire new sales by building relationships with existing and new accounts. The job will require constant communication with customers, and a proactive sales and marketing approach to meet the Company's sales targets. Successful candidates will possess a positive work ethic, drive and motivation to succeed. Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

* Meet or exceed individual sales targets. • Identify and evaluate business development opportunities and generate sales growth. • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets. • Plan and recommend sales and marketing strategies to achieve maximum circulation consistent with the Company's financial objectives. • Penetrate existing accounts while building and maintaining positive client relationships. • Manage and evaluate market data to ensure opportunities are capitalized while minimizing the effects of competitive activity. • Identify and implement synergy programs with the parent company. • Support the Director of Sales and Business Development with direct customer negotiations as required. • Travel to customer sites to discuss and close sales opportunities, present product features and services, benefits, material specification and competitive advantage. • Other duties as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): or Work Equivalent Experience: 5 plus years of experience in sales, program management, or customer support Experience in aviation is required.

Minimum 5 to 10 years of combined experience in the following areas:

Aviation sales and business development,

Program management for aircraft and aviation industry accounts,

Knowledge of aviation OEMs, suppliers, and industry,

Proven track record in reaching sales goals and customer account development,

Customer-focused with strong relationships in the commercial aviation community,

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required,

Effective interpersonal and team leadership skills with the ability to interface with a wide range of personnel,

Must be a able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce database.
