Classification: Hourly Non-Exempt, Regular, “At Will” Work Status

Reports To: Business CTL or Practice Doctor as assigned

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting 80%
  • Standing/walking 20%
  • Moderate noise levels from Medical and Surgical equipment
  • Medical, office, and lab setting
  • Exceptional hand dexterity and typing skills to work with standard software programs provided.
  • Good Mathematical aptitude in order to prepare and interpret financial reports, collect payments and understand account balances, and maintain financial integrity for the practice.
  • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) as required for computer data entry and the preparation of treatment plans.

Vision/Ideal Outcome

The Trainer is a key player in the development of the OMS of Utah team. As a trainer you must

be capable of mentoring and training business new and existing team members. It will be your responsibility to develop training programs that improve OMS of Utah’s systems and practices. You will work hand in hand with the Business Team Manger to assess training needs, plan for future training and incentivize team members. You will be expected to work side by side with the business team members to support business team staffing needs and/or to assess a team’s training needs.

Position Summary

The trainer will be responsible for evaluating OMS of Utah’s business team needs and current practices, and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials,

tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The ideal

candidate will be a confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the

latest oral surgery related tools and resources needed to improve employee training and

performance. The trainer will also be responsible for researching and selecting the best

platform to deliver and utilize training materials. You will also work with the Business Team Manager and other members of the administrative team to develop and implement new ideas. \

Experience and Education:

· High School Diploma.

· Accurate typing at 40 words per minute.

· One Year Minimum Office experience.

· Preferred Two Years experience.
