About the Position:

Performs a variety of duties to provide outstanding service and support to our customers and Division Sales staff. Within established procedures performs a variety of administrative support functions to receive, process and complete product orders according to customer specifications by performing the following broad range of duties.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Enter parts orders and other order administration as described below:
* Reviewing and filing of acknowledgments;
* Running and reviewing multiple reports for Group Manager and outside sales;
* Running and reviewing multiple reports - open order expedite, rep open orders;
* Entering items received from shipping into P21 from packing slips;
* Entering direct ship invoices from Accounting to be received into P21;
* Preparing invoicing for items shipping, coordinates with Shipping department
* Reviewing, booking, and filing commissions;
* Conferring with accounting to research and resolve invoicing or credit discrepancies;

* Organize and maintain electronic file systems and suspense for follow-up action; file correspondence and other records;
* Communicate with co-workers, management, customers and others in a professional and courteous manner.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional environment where there is ambient room temperature and lighting as typically found in an office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level is usually moderate.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing and shipping/receiving areas where, under certain areas, the noise level is high.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


This position has no travel responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience

Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction for an indefinite period of time.
