About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to ensure day to day operations of the retail line of business.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare and distribute materials, and facilitate market meetings
Compile, edit, maintain, and organize complex information for inclusion in department reports or presentation materials
Prepare routine, complex, and confidential correspondence for internal and external use and engage in regular communication and interaction with customers and employees
Manage and coordinate branch staff schedules, expense reports, mail, Workday delegations, and invoices
Manage customer complaints
Lead and coordinate market-wide fundraising activities, special event, projects, and group meetings
Coordinate new banker training and onboarding, and assist with workshop and GUEST (Greet, Understand, Empathize, Solve, and Thank) roleplays
Lead, manage, and coach branch teams in the absence of Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager
Manage retail banking functions such as monitor Workforce Cloud, facilitate large wire requests, track and manage partner referrals, deliver branch huddles, and act as coordinator of Medallion Signature Guarantee program
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of retail banking products, compliance, and delivering our customer experience
Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to coach others
Strong presentation, meeting organization, and facilitation skills
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate’s degree preferred.
2+ years financial industry experience required
