For the 21/22 harvest, we broke over 90 records, and a total 21.3 million tonnes delivered to CBH's network of 120+ receival sites. It's enough grain to fill Optus Stadium 17 times over! It's a mammoth task to receive this much grain in a short harvest window, store it and export it via road and rail networks to one of our four shipping ports in WA. We strive to continually improve our infrastructure from site feedback and innovation leading to a strong pipeline of work.

A rare and exciting senior leadership opportunity has arisen for a Terminal Manager at our Kwinana Grain Terminal.
The Role

Reporting to the Kwinana South General Manager, key accountabilities for the role include:
Managing the day-to-day operational issues of the terminal, including the movement of grain, grain fumigations, rail movements, shipping programmes, maintenance and sustain capital projects.
Providing coaching, mentoring and support for personnel on site to ensure compliance with CBH safety requirements and achievement of CBH safety objectives.
Leading recruitment, selection and workforce planning for the terminal, including succession planning and the engagement of contractors.
Providing coaching, mentoring, feedback and guidance to personnel at the Terminal, including managing performance where necessary.
Building, growing, and maintaining positive relationships with growers, customers, and contractors.
Monitoring, building, maintaining, and implementing budgets, in conjunction with the General Manager - Kwinana South; and
Overseeing maintenance and sustaining capital programs and budgets.
About You:
Previous experience managing a unionised workforce in an operational environment.
Tertiary qualifications in operations management, business, agriculture or something similar.
Proven experience in leading operational safety, with a track record of improving HSE outcomes.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to plan and communicate effectively; and
Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
