The role will require but not be limited to:
Plan, co-ordinate and control the engineering, procurement & logistics, construction and commissioning & close out phases of the allocated project to ensure the project is completed safely, meets design criteria, in specification and within time and cost constraints to achieve profit and commercial objectives.Leadership and development of an accountable project teamConstruction planning and monitor progress of project to ensure it is on time, within cost estimates and meeting specifications.Identify, implement moderations and review risks and opportunities for project activitiesSupervise and schedule the activities for and track productivity of the project to ensure accurate reporting, clear coordination and efficient project delivery.Provide leadership and direction in the application of resources to fulfil contractual commitments whilst maximising man-hour utilisation and profit for the project.Control & coordinate client communications & ensure the project is able to record, trace and find historical data.Ensure change management including scope and variation processes are established and rigorously adhered to.Propose alternative solutions where established systems are unable to overcome project challenges.Manage the commercial aspects of the project through sound process in project programming, cashflow, cost control, time control, quality control, purchasing, contract administration, and general site administration.Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure a high level of performance in terms of time, cost and qualityManage close-out requirements including: demobilisation, Practical Completion, clearance of punch lists and preparation of close-out reports and project financialsProvide leadership to the Project Team to ensure industrial stability is maintained at all times. Identify trends and issues and actively manage the project and external stakeholders ensuring employee and industrial stability throughout the project.
