The Practice:
A successful Financial Planning practice located on the Northern Beaches is looking for a financial adviser to join the team. This is a great opportunity for a focused adviser looking to tie real bonds in the community and be an integral part in the continued growth of the firm. With a focus on retaining quality clients not a high quantity of clients, this unique financial planning firm puts their heart and soul into their clients and building strong relationships.
The successful candidate will be challenged in the role as there is a high-net-worth client’s portfolio who have interesting and different needs including SMSFs, estate planning and tax-structuring.
If you have a passion for investments, there are opportunities for you to use your skills in this area of advice.
Salary:: Depending on the level of experience the salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 + Super + Bonus

Professional, client focused adviser

Experienced in the use of XPlan
Experienced devising complex strategies
Strong SMSF experience
High level of communication skills, both written and verbal

Specifics of the role include:
Provide high-quality strategic financial planning
Develop financial plans with the assistance of a specialised paraplanning team
In preparation for client meetings, ensure clients’ records are up to date and identify any gaps in our understanding of the client’s current situation and objectives as well as researching and formulating draft advice and alternative strategies.
Actively participate in the meeting with another adviser, take notes and ensure we have captured all information required, including client verbatim, objectives and preferences, to enable finalisation of advice after the meeting. Build rapport with clients and get to know them intimately.
Write compliant and succinct file notes, bring records up to date and oversee all post meeting advice and administrative actions.
Finalise advice formulation and either write ROAs or managing the completion of SOAs by the outsourced paraplanning team.
Oversee the implementation of advice in an accurate and timely manner.
