We have an exciting permanent opportunity available for a Team Leader – Operations within the TARR (Treatment and Resource Recovery) Water South section.
Based in Kelmscott, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our team in the safe operations and maintenance of Water Assets, Treatment Plants, Dam Structures and Community Recreational Facilities.
What the role will involve:
Leading, coaching and developing the operations team to ensue all tasks are undertaken safely whilst maintaining a high standard of work to ensure asset integrity across the section.
Managing your team’s performance and personal development to promote employee engagement and improve productivity.
Developing, maintaining, and implementing work schedules and rosters, as well as coordinating training to ensure ongoing development for your team.
Supporting the development and implementation of flexible working arrangements for your team to help in retaining our best and brightest employees.
Implementing incident management procedures both within normal working hours and as part of the after hours duty incident manager roster.
Leading the investigations for operational or maintenance challenges and providing technical advice on corrective measures.
Coordinating with Maintenance, Projects and Planning & Scheduling on current and upcoming planned activities including shutdowns or major project work.

Key skills and experience:
Completion or progress toward attainment of Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
WA C Class Drivers Licence.
Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with a high level of customer service.
Experience in leading and/or mentoring large workgroups, with any experience or exposure to change management beneficial
Experience in working to the ANCOLD guidelines.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment schemes or major civil infrastructure.
