The Role

Martin Brower is seeking a passionate Supply Planner to join out Supply Chain team located in Wetherill Park. This role is integral to the business and would require the successful applicant to assure supply for assigned product through effective planning and supplier management. You will be required to lead, develop and communicate all key category activities into all Australia and New Zealand Distribution Centres.
The Tasks
Review carton forecast in conjunction with Demand Planning team for promotional, seasonal and menu revisions
Work with Suppliers’ to develop optimum production plans for assured supply
Ensure that production plans, allocation quantities and distribution approach is aligned
Preparation of Volume Planning Documents
Develop contingency plans and risk mitigations to support unexpected sales increase/decreases to optimise stock
Develop production plans in collaboration with Suppliers to support business activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement and productivity
Responsible for all relevant Supplier communication on promotions
Align inbound freight methods with supplier, customer and internal stakeholders to ensure best fit for the business
Develop contingency plans and risk mitigations to support unexpected sales increase / decreases to optimize stock in the supply chain
Challenge suppliers to explore all options of reducing write off costs

The Successful Candidate
Previous FMCG, QSR or Distribution experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in similar role
Strong communication and rapport building skills
Ability to develop and manage demand and supply plans
Experience within ERP systems
Troubleshooting and contingency planning
