You work with projects and teams to design, architecturally-scope, cost and build technology monitoring solutions. You will help play a strategic role defining and building the monitoring services catalogue for technology teams. You will also sell the benefits of your team from how we reduce downtime, to how our costs are justified based on the downtime we prevent.
You will also be the in-house expert when it comes to Splunk, ensuring that the platform is performing, maturing, and providing value for the organisation.
Developing a best-in-class monitoring solution, with Splunk and other tools
Developing the Observability Centre of Excellence to drive collaboration, knowledge transfer and better outcomes
Maintain, improve, and mature the Splunk platform
Develop use cases, monitoring and analytical solutions
Develop the monitoring practice, leveraging Splunk and (integrating with) other solutions
Participate in an on-call roster to support our 24/7 support function.
Extensive experience developing Splunk use cases, dashboards, and knowledge objects
Experience with Splunk ITSI is highly desirable
Experience in Splunk administrative and maintenance task
Exposure to monitoring and observability practices
Splunk Certified Admin
Strong consultative and collaborative skill
Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in providing solutions
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
