What's your mission?

The Integration and Services Domain develop and operate key technology platforms underpinning digital identity, and banking services. Our analysts play a key role in ensuring we’re building the right services and platform capability that ensure we can offer the very best customer experiences. 

This role will be working within the Identity Services domain who ensure that customer interactions with ANZ PLUS are always secure, trustworthy, and smooth.

What will your day look like?

It's a very fast paced environment so no two days will be the same. You will play a leading role in your squad ensuring that it is clear on requirements and priorities, and is aligned to customer value.

As well as the normal business analyst responsibilities of requirements elicitation, process analysis, managing squad backlogs, and working with initiative and release leads you will also: 

  • Partnering with the Product Owner to validate requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment to value 
  • Partnering with the Product Owner, Engineers and other people in your Squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of User Stories 
  • Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad 
  • Working with APIs, specifications, sequence diagrams, to help stitch a cohesive picture across multiple technology products all the way through to our end consumer 
  • Leveraging tools for optimal collaboration and knowledge sharing 
  • Implementing a ‘test & learn’ culture within the squad, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation 
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis 
  • Verifying and validating what’s in production (especially after changes).
  • What will you bring?

  • Previous experience in one or more types of Analyst roles will be highly regarded, e.g. Process Analyst, System Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Analyst 
  • Deep domain and system knowledge to turn customer needs into business requirements and workable technology outcomes 
  • Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria 
  • Experience in working with APIs and technical specifications 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • A desire to continuously learn new techniques and technologies, bringing innovative ideas into the Squad 
  • Desirable experience 

  • Identity and Access Management domain knowledge
  • Working knowledge of OAUTH 2.0 standards 
  • Working in a regulated environments - Information Security, Compliance and Operational requirements for banking systems. 
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies and concepts 
  • Knowledge and experience of modern DevOps practices.
