The Call Center Representative is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and retention by providing members, customers, patients, and providers with accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information. They will provide higher level support to members' inquiries and can triage incoming calls and route or provide guidance based on the needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Responds professionally to calls from patients, employees, vendors, etc. Promotes, ensures, and provides customer service by demonstrating skills which are consistent with the organization's philosophy of providing extraordinary customer and quality service.

· Evaluates calls to determine and implement the appropriate course of action to resolve the complaint and/or coordinate service recovery. Uses sensible judgement to route the appropriate calls to the correct department when necessary.

· Capable of maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of all information.

· Performs other relevant duties as required.

· Documents conversations with patients according to procedure and routes to appropriate department.

· Required to effectively take inbound/outbound call for multiple practices.

Basic Qualifications:


· Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience or call center experience. Experience in a medical environment is preferred.


· High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

· N/A.

Additional Requirements:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and respond briefly, clearly and effectively.

· Ability to think critically and problem solve.

· Manage own work with minimal direction (Self- Starter).

· Must be comfortable with handling a high volume of inbound calls and capable of making outbound calls.
