About the job
Responsible for overall Sales and P&L responsibility for Process Heat Exchangers by identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services within Oceania. This role is based in Sydney or Perth, Australia, and you will be required to travel in the region.
Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services
Analyse and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales team and/or sales team leader
Generate and manage leads from customers and convert them to real business opportunities in order to grow the project pipeline
Be active in the market and focus on arranging visits, meetings and interactions with customers, engineering consultants and EPCs, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
Conduct customer segmentation and manage the buying customer grid to increase our market share
Develop value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up
Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
Work closely with Inside Sales team, mentor, coach and support the team to ensure they deliver to customer expectations
Carry out business development activities to promote Alfa Laval technologies to the emerging Clean Energy industry
What you know?
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
7 – 10 years of working experience with minimum 5 years’ sales experience
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
