  • The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), the principal organisation representing the medical speciality of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking an Assessment Support Officer to join our Education & Training department. 

    The role provides pivotal administration support for the examinations and is responsible for processing and oversight of the examination applications and enrolments.

    The role will work closely with the members of the examination teams and relevant committees to provide relevant updates and reports on the applications and enrolments status.

    This role will be responsible for:

  • Accurate and timely administration of applications and review of applications eligibility, and provision of the required information to the relevant staff members
  • Committee support for the OSCE related meetings as required and development of necessary reporting on applications
  • Database management in relation to applications and eligibility, including any examination details and data and reporting
  • Work closely with the team members and project managers
  • Assisting with the allocations of candidates and examiners for the exam venues and preparation of relevant documentation
  • Contribute to the review and development of relevant Standard Operating Procedures and college regulations in relation to applications for the examinations
  • Support committee administration and meetings.
  • The successful candidate will have :

  • Demonstrated experience in the student administration or assessment environment.
  • Understanding of examination processes, training, or student applications is desirable.
  • Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs, including Excel, and a sound understanding of databases.
  • High-level accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work after hours and on weekends as required.
