Assistant Store Manager

  • Permanent Full-time position
  • The Assistant Store manager will drive their team to success whilst overdelivering sale and services to their customers. Our client is looking for someone with expectational communication, leadership and sales skills who has a passion for improving business performances and store operations.
     
    Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
  • Support the Territory manager in developing team knowledge on products, processes, and store operations.
  • Help develop a commercially focused team strategy and operating rhythm to improve stores performances and engagements.
  • Assist with store sales and targets whilst also reading and analysing daily reports on current teams’ performances and understand ways to improve your team.
  • Role Model high performances within sales and customer interactions whilst overdelivering on individual performances.
  • Support the Territory manager with on-boarding and training of new staff.
  • Identify and improve day-to-day activities to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Support the Store manager in rostering and management of store budgets.
  • You will have:
  • Previous customer service experience within a sales environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of health services, finance, or insurance industries within Australia.
  • Ability to lead, coach and develop a team whilst providing constructive criticisms to better the efficiency and abilities of your team.
  • Future orientation, enterprise thinking, business acumen and adaptable skillsets with the ability to stay human centred.
  • Proven experience in delivering sales and service targets
  • Ability to ensure own/stores compliance with regulatory legislative changes as well as internal policy and procedure changes.
