Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the development and own the output of the Technical Product user documentation. You will collaborate with and be the conduit between all departments with key functions are as follows.

Prepare and develop technical marketing material for both our internal and external customers

Support documentation includes, but is not limited to product specifications, assembly and installation manuals, photo realistic renderings, schematics, animations, catalogue images, electronic calculators (BOM, capacity / limitations, etc) line drawings etc.

Manage your own and your teams' resources to ensure timely and accurate generation of deliverables

Work with Engineering Technical Lead, Marketing, Product Management, Product Training to ensure all technical product support is available for a successful launch

Seek insights from the business on opportunities to improve documentation / support


To be considered for this role, you will bring.

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a consumer product industry

Proficient in SolidWorks; Large Assemblies and 2D drawings (Solidworks Composer would be highly regarded)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders

Experience with technical writing, a hands-on approach with a strong mechanical aptitude

Excellent organisational and planning skills. The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at any one time
