Job Description
The Project
Campbell Page EcoCrews projects provide hands-on experience of a range of land-based activities, integrated accredited training, and assists with transitions from the program into the workforce.
The role
That’s where you come in! We’re looking for an EcoCrews Project Support Officer who will be assisting the various projects. The EcoCrews Project Support Officer will work with the EcoCrews Regional and Program Managers to ensure that EcoCrews are able to work effectively to achieve project objectives.
So that you can flourish in our new role, we would provide a laptop and mobile phone. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is willing to work from our Batemans Bay office and is not afraid to go out on site to coordinate any support needed by our EcoCrews Team Supervisors.
You will be responsible for:
Recruitment: Organising interviews and helping bring new EcoCrews team members on board.
Training: Organising training with our training provider, arranging logistics, ensuring that people progress through their training and reporting progress.
Reporting: Reviewing progress of individual crews with the Regional Manager, preparing reports for stakeholders, and attending meetings.
Supporting EcoCrews in the field, whether logistics, arranging provision of project materials, supporting EcoCrews Team Leaders including on site activity.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be awesome at this role, you’ll need:
Minimum of two years’ experience of working as an administrative assistant or officer.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to identify risks.
Knowledge of Work Health Safety policy and the importance of record keeping.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including competence in the use of MS Office Suite – strong skills in MS excel will be looked upon favourably.
Full current driving licence, willingness to obtain Working with Children’s Check and a national police check.
