Business Development Manager – Professional Services
Komet is about to take off, we are a boutique Salesforce development and professional development services consultancy with a core group of clients we are now looking to expand. About the role;
The Business Development role is a key contributor to the success of the company and a great opportunity to shape the success of this start-up. You will be accountable for the development, execution and management of business development activities including prospecting, cold calling, networking, lead generation, lead qualification, deal close-out and opportunity management. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to deliver sales, which will be your primary responsibility.
Develop relationships with key client stakeholders to become their trusted advisor and develop relationships with key decision makers.
Be excited about our clients and their industries. Find out how we can help solve their pain points.
Be creative and persistent in building relationships.
Build trust through meeting and exceeding promises, commitments, and follow-up actions.
Identify new clients for Salesforce development services by prospecting, researching, cold calling, networking, and any other means.
Prepare presentations and proposals for services and manage prospective clients through to deal closure.
Manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure visibility and best practice deal management.
Liaise with Salesforce account executives and other networks to develop a pipeline of referrals to compliment your own business development activities.
Handle incoming leads and qualify opportunities.
Assist in the development of case studies and marketing documents to assist in client acquisition.
Provide feedback to management and the development team on actions and strategies to increase client numbers and deal closure.
About you;
You will need to be a great combination of the following in order to succeed; 
A passion for technology and a desire to one day build and lead your own team.
A track record business development achievements (year on year) selling CRM professional services (in particular Salesforce)
Experience working with small to medium sized customers preferably in a consulting business
Highly refined communication skills, being able to translate ideas into client opportunities
A natural curiosity and enjoyment from developing relationships with a wide range of people
A great win rate and the ability to adapt and learn from losses.
Demonstrable presentation development skill and polished delivery
A remarkable level of energy and optimism
Flexibility to work from home.
