The Opportunity
Due to our Acciona, MACA, AECOM Alliance being selected as the preferred bidder on the northern package we are seeking to appoint a Talent Acquisition Advisor to the project working out of the Melbourne CBD office.
The Project
The north package covers the design and construction of the North East Link between the M80-Plenty Rd interchange and the north tunnel entrance at Watsonia. Works include 2km of new freeway upgrade, 3km of new freeway, separation of local roads from the freeways, almost 2M.m3 of earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design, and landscaping. The project will be completed by late 2028.
The North East Link (NEL) will provide a safe and efficient freeway connection for more than 135,000 vehicles a day, taking 15,000 trucks off busy residential roads in the north east of greater Melbourne each day and reducing traffic on the arterial road network crossing the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day. It will also enhance access to major suburban business and employment centres, improve orbital road connectivity across Melbourne and boost the capacity of the city’s freight network. We will also be proudly setting the standards for environmental and sustainability at all stages of the project in line with the Acciona Sustainability Management Plan (SMP-2025).
Key accountabilities for the posi tion:
The Talent Acquisition Advisor reports to the People & Culture Lead and will be responsible for driving the employment of talent in accordance with the project mobilisation plan.
You will partner closely with internal hiring managers to ensure our resourcing outcomes support the success of the project and we engage talent that meets the project short and long terms needs.
In this role you will:
Support the continuous improvement of the recruitment strategy and processes to maximise our ability to attract, secure and retain high end talent
Assist Managers with the development of role scope, advertisements, and identification of recruitment needs.
Provide a high level of candidate care to ensure that applicants can understand the value Acciona places on its employees
Provide recruitment support through the ability to attract and engage highly capable talent pools through innovative attraction strategies.
 Coordinate and conduct interviews to support a high-level professional process and support the selection of the candidates that meet the needs of the project
Undertake the engagement process from offer ensuring all pre-employments checks are completed in a timely manner Capability and experience needed to succeed. 
Required Skills and Competencies
Ideally you will have experience working in a similar role and have internal recruitment experience however agency recruiters looking to transition to an internal role will also be considered
Experience with building and maintaining diverse and collaborative relationships with hiring managers & internal staff
Experience in taking part in recruitment strategy meetings, workforce planning, candidate attraction initiatives, and forward planning for resourcing requirements will be advantageous
Able to work in fast-paced challenging role, with an ability to problem solve, use initiative coupled with a desire to work as part of a high performing team
