About the role:
As the Reliability Performance Specialist, you will work with site engineering, maintenance and performance teams to analyse data and develop tools and processes that coordinate portfolio wide reliability activities. This includes analysing information and providing insights on specific failure mechanisms to identify defect patterns to assist sites in identifying under performing assets. Through the use of data analysis and governance of standards, you will also support RCA investigations with site teams to identify improvement opportunities and provide reporting for corporate and site communication, as well as capital investment decision making. Specific requirements include:
Advise and consult with asset engineers to provide reliability findings and recommendations
Provide sites with the tools and dashboards to monitor equipment performance and evaluate equipment history and failure trends
Facilitate key reliability analytical projects using deep level maintenance and operational data to identify predictive indicators impacting on future reliability
Build relationships across the asset sites to develop Reliability Best/Efficient Practices and work through common issues
Design and engineer the reporting interface to provide effective data for users and leaders
Analytically review reliability outcomes to determine trends on performance and recommend improvements to improve reliability or reduce cost.
Facilitate the development, implementation and maintenance of common standards across the business
About You:
You will be an experience Reliability Engineer with a strategic and/or consultative approach where you utilise data and analytical tools to provide insights for site teams. You will have a solid understanding of reliability and how it couples with operational performance across the asset portfolio. You will enjoy coaching and guiding stakeholders with a higher level approach than most reliability engineering positions.
What you bring to the table:
Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities
The ability to see linkages between apparently unrelated matters
Advanced technology skills in MS Office, Sharepoint, Power BI and SAP
Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science and/or Technology
