My client provides a portfolio of cloud-based business management solutions, designed for multiple industries and building materials suppliers, across the globe. They are looking for a goal-oriented Business Development Representative / Aftermarket Sales Representative ?Account Manager for their Melbourne Australia office, to effectively communicate the benefits of our industry-specific technology. Using consultative sales techniques, successful candidates will be expected to effectively communicate how ECI and its solutions can help customers and prospects profitably grow their business. Alongside fulfilling the aftermarket needs of our existing customer base and providing guidance for go-forward migrations to our cloud solutions.
Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate their software solutions by articulating how we and our solutions are best choice of partner and solutions
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the existing customer base and contact customers through periodic check-ins, cold calls and emails.
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) migration clients and Regional Sales Executives.
Operating as the lead point of contact for all sales related matters specific to your existing accounts.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting consultative customer relationships.
Develop new business (filling white space) with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
Collaborate with sales team to identify and help grow opportunities through customer referrals.
Effectively utilize the Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline, sales opportunities and track daily activities.
Flexible working environment in an office-based role ( Mt Waverley, Melbourne). Travel may be required as necessary.
Report to the Regional Director of Sales on (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) results.
Who you are:
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, BDR, SDR or relevant role (ERP or SaaS experience is a plus but not essential as full training will be provided)
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level, both verbally and via business writings
Goal-oriented with a track record of reaching your sales objectives.
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with leads, prospects and current customers transferring to new SaaS solutions
"Hunter" mentality, with a demonstrated capacity to prospect for your own leads as well as cultivate leads from marketing and other sources to consistently fill the sales pipeline
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Experience and knowledge of timber and building materials businesses is a plus.
