Essential Responsibilities

Lead a team of supply chain material expeditors in pursuit of business goals , strategies and initiatives

Drive accountability for operational excellence of assigned program.

Engage the business leadership team to develop and execute fulfilment processes that deliver enhanced productivity.

Provide weekly metrics to demonstrate and drive individual and team performance.

Understand and drive lean initiatives internally and with suppliers.

Maintain, enhance and drive improvement of supplier on time delivery metrics.

Create and execute a supplier performance culture to achieve performance of 95% on time delivery to need.

Closely monitor supplier performance to plan and work with suppliers to manage any required recovery plans/actions.

Conduct capacity audits, track and escalate any red flags that impede supplier performance and introduce supplier delivery penalty concept.

Integrate supplier risk within the material clear to build process

Provide advance warnings on perceived supplier delivery issues that could impact business goals.

Collaborate with the internal business functions to resolve issues associated within the supply chain.

Support Toll Gate reviews in line with assigned program.

Ensure strategic alignment with Commodity Leaders in Make v Buy decisions, Source Boards and proposed LCC transitions.

Manage Material Input in line with business material requirements & inventory targets

Support production readiness reviews

Take initiative on leading the internal and supplier improvement project ideas

Leverage commercial terms with the supplier for non-performance to contract and to encourage contract performance going forward.

Establish improved health reviews with the senior leadership team

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Ability to demonstrate high performance within a Sourcing environment.

Additional experience within Quality and/or Operations.

Ability to travel globally up to 40% of the time.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to influence others and lead small teams.

Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices.

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple and competing priorities

Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems

Ability to mentor, train and develop better processes

Strong customer mind set

Proven analytical and organizational ability with strong demonstrated Excel skills
