In your full-time permanent role as Head of Digital Strategy, you will be reporting to the Chief Digital Officer. You will unify our digital and data teams by co-creating and executing on our rolling 12-month digital product and capabilities roadmap. Collaborate with other business unit strategic heads to ensure there is a strong alignment across our ongoing roadmap. 
The Role:
This role requires a talented leader with extensive strategic experience and a proven track record in being able to influence and join forces with stakeholders, partners and digital team members. 
You will be accountable for bringing to life our digital strategy that clearly defines our value proposition to the market across communications, CX, data science, governance and analytics and digital product disciplines. Measuring success and iterating based on data driven insights is critical to this role. Work in partnership with the digital leadership team and other business unit heads on 90-day planning cycles inclusive of ideation, discovery, business case development, team capacity planning and strategic coordination of responses to Govt tenders as needed.
Develop and lead the 3 yr group digital strategy piece of work with the selected consultancy group, and support the preparation of the board paper in March 2023
Be the key conduit to the digital strategy definition and working document, inclusive of identifying digital value streams and competencies, digital experience principles, platform requirements and role of digital channels across web, app and digital assisted (chatbot)
Capacity Planning: A conduit between the PMO, Digital and relevant IT teams, this digital thought leader will champion the customer and business needs during enterprise level capacity planning sessions 
Stemming from quarterly planning is the coordination of digitally led initiatives that require OSC submission for funding. Review and provide guidance to initiative owners around business case benefits and cost investment
Coordinate with the support of relevant Digital Product Owners, our overall positioning, and responses to Govt tenders and new business opportunities
Insights & Metrics: work with DLT to track performance against Digital Metrics that Matter targets. This is reviewed once a week at DLT level, then at ELT level once a month. 
Create and maintain the Digital Portfolio backlog, defining release and sprint goals and answering questions to add detail to user stories.
Contribute and guide ongoing iterations and priorities for the In-life squad, working closely with the Digital Lead of FoS and team members
Ensure key strategic programs of work sponsored by Digital is tracked against business benefits and milestones. This specifically includes Digital Strategy, SSOT and Data Governance
You will bring:
Proven commercial digital strategy experience
Experienced in agile methodologies and navigating steerco governance 
Experience in managing and mentoring a team
Have cross-functional experience collaborating with an internal team (for example UX, Design, Tech/Architecture, QA and Delivery)
The ability to prioritise effectively to maintain a manageable workload for teams and maximise customer value delivery.
A strong ability to resolve complex problems, working through situations and opportunities
Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong ability to elicit and articulate requirements.
