About the Role
Specialist Fleet Management is responsible for the delivery of fleet management excellence through collaborative relationships with control execution, sites, technology and our external vendors. The role is focused on the integrity of production data and to ensure that our fleet management systems’ capabilities are being utilised to their full potential to leverage an uplift in safe production across our coal assets.
The role is based in Brisbane working Monday to Friday, offering flexible work arrangement.
Reporting to Superintendent Fleet Management, key responsibilities include:
Assist in the development and maintenance of the skills and knowledge of the Fleet Management System (FMS) team by sharing learnings and experiences in relation to the delivery of fleet management excellence and ways to embed change within the IROC+ control execution teams.
Implement and sustain the continuous improvement culture and support systems within the Control Execution team.
Provide subject matter expertise to projects, both within the FMS team and wider IROC+ community, to ensure currency and relevance.
Focus on the integrity, security and accessibility of fleet production data by identifying, communicating and resolving any issues within this data to maintain effective use of our systems.
Support effective utilisation, optimisation and improvement of FMS systems, to improve overall mine control effectiveness and truck productivity through the provision of effective and dynamic training solutions for both IROC+ and on-site.
Review / audit existing training to ensure its currency, relevance and alignment to the IROC+ Training Scheme, Controller Blueprint, adult learning principles and BHP Global Training Design Standards.
Assist technology teams in prioritising system faults and the control execution team with incident investigations (when required).
Collaborate with teams among BHP Technology to assist in managing performance of our systems.
About You
Your interpersonal skills will foster collaborative working relationships across various teams. In addition to demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information, you will have the skills and knowledge to provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude.
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications (diploma or above) within Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics is desirable.
Advanced knowledge of Fleet Management Systems.
Operational site experience or experience as a Mine Controller is desirable.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks autonomously.
Experience in analysis and improvement would be advantageous
