About the role
Based at our Docklands Head office location, this permanent, full time Client Relationship Officer Role reports to the Manager STL Registry & Property Custody. As the Client Relationship Officer (Property Custody) you will form part of the Corporate Trusts division of Sandhurst Trustees Ltd and be responsible for the provision of settlement and custody services for property related funds management products.
The position combines custody and investment administration for various property related products to external corporate clients. You will participate in reviewing and executing property related documentation, facilitation of payment of various Trust costs, expenses, investments and other liabilities as per instructions received from the client and facilitation of new investment products, asset purchases and acquisitions under capacity as Custodian for existing Corporate Trust clients.
You will also contribute to the introduction and establishment of new Corporate Trust clients and will present daily client engagement, with a high regard to servicing corporate clients in an efficient and professional manner. Also included in this role is the continual improvement of Corporate Trusts business processes and procedures.
Hybrid working model – one week in the office 5 days per week, second week working from home (however this can also be flexible).
This is an entry level role where we can train you to obtain skills needed for success.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Keenness and eagerness to learn (no prior knowledge required)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Proven ability to work independently and within a small team environment with tight deadlines.
Maintains a positive work environment.
High level of communication skills both written and verbal.
Well organised, ability to prioritise workflows.
Knowledge of Managed Funds or Financial Markets desirable.
Experience with cash payment systems whether online banking or Austraclear.
Experience from a Custody or Operations role within Funds Management will be advantageous.
