About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a forward-thinking Process Engineer to join our Construction Fabrics factory in Scoresby. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for effective management of inventory of finished products for distribution centres nationally whilst also assisting more broadly with process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage inventory of finished products for distribution centres nationally.
Inventory management and production scheduling, maintenance of master data BOMs and routes.
Assist the management team with the implementation of process improvements.
Evaluate production performance data and design/implement improvements to boost productivity.
Coordinate and manage trials relating to New Product Development (NPD).
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Engineering degree (mechanical or chemical).
2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing operation.
Previous experience in inventory management and process improvement would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
SAP experience would be advantageous.
