Sharvain Projects is a dynamic growing construction company predominantly involved in the design, fabrication, installation and project management of high-end glazing and façade projects for commercial building industry.
Company provides comprehensive design and construct solutions for specialized glazing and façade projects. Our head office is in Silverwater (Sydney) and the subsidiaries are in Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Fabrication bases are in Australia and across the mainland China. Landmark facade projects completed by our teams are well known across Australia and world-wide. 
Recently Sharvain Projects have completed Brookfield Place Commercial Tower above Wynyard Station, the Opera Residences building near Circular Quay and 52 story AMP Tower located at 50 Bridge Street in Sydney CBD.
In June 2022, we have commenced 2 new projects and are gearing up to start more new projects from December 2022. Amongst others, our future projects include New Sydney Fish Markets, Victoria Cross, 20 story Castlereagh Street Tower and 30 story Pitt Street Over Station Development (South Tower).
Due to increased workload and continuing expansion, we are seeking experienced Site Project Managers and Site Supervisors with previous experience or exposure to facades and glazing to join out professional teams in Sydney.
Job Overview:
Focus is On-site Project Management of construction - ensuring prudent construction logistics, ensure buildability and ensuring compliance with general QAQC protocols and TQM i.e. deliver quality products on time and budget
Position is Site based but regular office presence will be required
Site Project Manager is required to protect Company’s commercial interests and ensure good reputation of Sharvain Projects on site and off site, whilst maintaining good working professional relationship with the Client and all employees and subcontractors
Ensure strict compliance with site specific EHS rules and regulations as well as Sharvain Projects EHS policy
Work closely with, Commercial Manager, Production Project Managers, Directors, report daily to Directors, provide weekly project summary reports and monthly project overview
Skills & Experience
previous experience in similar role
good projects administration and computer skills (e mail, Excel, Word. MS Project etc.)
understanding and use Aconex
ability to fluently communicate in English
Australian Driver’s License
Understanding of site set ups with Tier 1 building contractors
basic knowledge of construction materials and components used for façade projects
friendly and easy-going personality
Specific Job description:
Manage on site construction process, ensure top quality of workmanship and final product
Manage projects handover process and defects rectification
Ensure forward planning of site activities and resources
Provide expertise to alleviate potential problems; anticipate possible issues
Forecast Site costs and manage site costs to meet budgets
Provide detail information of use of site equipment and access equipment, site machinery and onsite cranes
Facilitate and Coordinate deliveries; organize deliveries as required
Facilitate ordering and ensure availability of materials
Review and confirm delivery dates (ensure they reflect required sequence, as per construction program)
Manage sub-contractors; ensure quality supervision, prepare scope of work for sub-contractors if required
Develop SWMS, participate in presentations and attend High Risk workshops
Adhere to Company Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), EHS, QA, TQC protocols; set up and implement ITP’s
Liaise with Clients regarding site issues, report to Senior Management and Directors
Oversee and provide approval for site set outs, provide site measurements where required
Lead site installation teams and maintain high level of discipline and staff moral
If required, prepare detailed short term construction program and flow charts capturing key onsite activities
Participate and provide expertise to the resolution of site related design issues, clearly communicate with production and design team, and if required, facilitate additional procurement and production
Issue daily site reports, weekly summary reports, and monthly look ahead; maintain updated site diary and daily attendance record
Provide input into tendering, if required
