Alfred Health's Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation Centre provides rehabilitation services for people with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, hypoxic brain injuries and other causes of non-progressive brain injury. The service is comprised of a 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation service, a community rehabilitation service which is also NDIS registered and a 4-bed transitional living service (TLS).
Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dynamic manager to lead the community rehabilitation and TLS components of the ABI service. You will be responsible for the leadership and operational performance of the ABI Community Rehabilitation Program and the Transitional Living Service including maintaining NDIS registration of the service. The role will assist in the development of innovative practice models which will support service integration, continuity of care across sectors and maximise client access to services.
Experience and Qualifications Required
You will have:
Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of interdisciplinary health teams
Relevant knowledge of NDIS and quality auditing related to registration.
Relevant allied health or nursing qualifications
Highly developed change management skills
Strong understanding of the health care sector, including public and compensable funding systems
Well-developed negotiation and problem solving skills
Post graduate management qualifications or working towards this.
