Council is seeking applications from professional, energetic and highly motivated persons to fill this important role within the ICT Department.
The position will be responsible for the provision of first-line IT Systems Engineering.
The applicant should have a Degree or Certificate IV in Information Technology or related discipline with at least 4 years' relevant experience. They must hold and maintain a current Class C driver licence.
The applicant must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at the desktop, network and business applications as first point of contact. Excellent interpersonal and customer skills are also essential, as well as sound written communication skills.
Salary and conditions: The position has a salary range of Grade 10 - 14 (from $62,998 to $89,076 per annum) plus 10.5% superannuation. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. in the Council's salary system. The position is 70 hours per fortnight worked over 19 days per month with one (1) rostered day off per month.
Prior to commencement the successful applicant will be required to undergo Drug & Alcohol screening and a Pre-employment Assessment. It is also a requirement, on commencement, to show evidence of having received current Covid-19 vaccinations.
