Where the Group Finance and Business Services team fits in
The Product & Pricing Analyst sits within the Finance and Business Services Group, headed up by the Chief Financial Officer. The Finance and Business Services team, or FaBS as we like to call them, is the engine room of the REA Group. The team is comprised of Finance, Risk, Procurement, Pricing, Contracts, Customer Collections, Payments, Facilities Management and our Customer and Business Systems IT development teams.
What the role is all about:
As a Product & Pricing Analyst, you will work within our Customer Analytics & Insights team across our Agent Market services and Marketplace line of businesses. Your mission is to help us reimagine the way we provide insights, while supporting the day-to-day activities of the broader team. In this role, you can expect to:
Assist in providing recommendations and analysis on short-term tactical Product & Pricing initiatives to support the immediate business needs
Work closely with the Product team to identify opportunities and risks associated with various mid-long-term product initiatives, and proactively develop optimisation or mitigation strategies
Develop commercial models to understand the likely business impacts associated with initiatives
Manipulate & analyse complex data from a variety of sources using a variety of tools & techniques to provide analysis and insights.
Collaborate with the Analytics, Product & Sales teams to understand our customer’s businesses, consumer’s needs and the marketplace; and use this knowledge in developing price points, pricing strategy & supporting go to market
Work along-side the Analytics team to lead the creation of dashboards for key product KPIs
Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to understand financial impacts to understand financial trends and impacts of pricing analysis on performance
Maintain a working knowledge of other business products & pricing architecture to effectively identify & consider impacts of initiatives across the group
Keep abreast of digital product & pricing trends, identify implications and opportunities for REA

Great commercial acumen
Proven skills in writing SQL (Big Query) and creating Tableau reports
Track record in developing and delivering commercial business outcomes
Awesome communication skills – written, verbal and presenting skills
Confident in both formal and informal settings with the ability to relate to individuals across all levels
Someone who is proactive, curious, a relationship builder and has strong influencing skills
Ability to collaborate in a complex, fast paced business
