Our client's business operates with two directors who are highly experienced and qualified building professionals with a combined 40 years’ experience in construction and project management.
The directors have established a proven reputation for delivering quality outcomes for their clients.
With their combined skills, resources and expertise, the construction team have the capability to deliver complex and demanding construction projects.
Our client is ideally looking to engage an Estimator/Contract Administrator ideally with retail fitout experience to work alongside the two Directors. If you have fitout experience across another discipline, please reach out as we will consider that also and if you have new build experience this will be considered as well.
This is an integral role in the business as they are a small growing contractor. They have had long standing relationships with Tier 1 retail clients so we are looking for someone with a minimum of three to five years experience, to be responsible for the following;
Reviewing tender documentation to develop accurate Bill of Quantities 
Preparing take-offs and tender estimates
Recommending and delivering bid strategies and value engineering options on tenders
Reviewing & analysing subcontractor quotes and negotiating to obtain best prices
Preparing tender submissions ensuring all components are included
Preparing methodologies and programs for submissions when required
Providing subcontractor selections and recommendations to project teams
Servicing and expanding the contractors subcontractor base in a professional and ethical manner
Working across procurement, RFI notices and progress claims;
Processing variations in accordance with procedures;
Reporting on budgets for various projects;
Administering smaller commercial projects;
Coordinating and liaising with sub-contractors, site staff and office employees;
Preparing subcontractor and supplier documentation
