Are you a passionate about educating and mentoring those around you? Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse/Theatre Coordinator looking for a new position?
Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse/Floor Coordinator to join our Operating Theatre on either a part time or full time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
As a Floor Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
Oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standard
Support and liaise with the Nurse Unit Manager of the Perioperative department and wards
Ensure all theatres are staffed appropriately and cost efficient
Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilization standard
Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management

Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Previous experience as a Floor Coordinator
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Experience in similar position (desired)
Excellent Communication and Customer Services skills
Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks
