Description

We are a Property Management company, managing multiple properties on behalf of others. The position requires dispatching vendors to units and coordinating with the owners and tenants. This requires a great deal of detailed work and multi-tasking. You must be trust worthy, able to pass a back ground check and random drug testing.

You will need to have basic office skills so please take the assessments offered; or your application / resume will not be reviewed. Do not apply if you are only looking for unemployment benefits. I am looking to train the right person for a long term job with career opportunities.

Office hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm occasional hours on Friday andto carry an after hours phone {company provided} in case of emergencies. You must be able to start employment by January 3rd or sooner. Starting wage will be $13.00 / hours and will increase depending on performance after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

You will not personally being doing any of the repairs. home maintenance knowledge is a plus.
· You must be able to handle pressure while remaining calm while working with clients. Be upfrontand honest and able to handle confrontation.
· Position will be dispatching service vendors out to the units when the tenants call about maintenance problems and following through to completion.
· You will be required to receive work approval from the owners, coordinate with the vendor and tenants schedules, then verify the job was completed and submitting the approved invoice to accounting for payment.
· You will be required to clearly communicate to all parties what the job is - what the costs are - and to receive approval.
· You will be required to identify health and safety issues in a property.
· You will be required to follow guidelines for ADA and Fair Housing.

SKILLS:

· Microsoft Word / Excel and Adobe skills required.

· Web site applications

· Able to handle emergencies in a calm manner

· One who will ask for help when needed, yet a self-motivator.

· A quick learner who can adapt to revolving situations and follow through on items already in progress.

· Multi-tasking & being organized is essential

· Must have basic knowledge of household maintenance and repairs.

· Fair Housing Training a plus

· Office filing / basic duties / cleaning

· Answering phones / Email proficient preferably Gmail.
