Job Description

The CPA ( Complex Process Automation) function provides IT automation and Release Management Services to our IT community and business customers. The Associate Director, Process Lead serves a key role in the design, implementation & evolution of all SMART IT products and services as part of the SMART IT (IT Automation) team.

This role is critical to driving the effort to define & deliver automated products or services that increase our Company's operation integrity & productivity and reduce costs.

The incumbent will:

* Lead workshops to define & document the current state & future state processes for products, services, & automated solutions, across all technology stacks inclusive of Cloud, infrastructure, network, application management, operations, and DevSecOps.

* Make process & design recommendations based on existing IT automation patterns, products & services.

* Document product owner requirements & provide design input for the automation architecture, engineering & delivery teams.

* Drive reuse for existing automation and efficiencies that translate to cost savings; reinforce standards for the development & delivery of enterprise automation solutions.

* Work with the product owner to capture the value & benefits the product/service will provide.

* Work as a liaison between the product owner and Automation COE, CI/CD & SMART IT Portal teams delivering the product/service.

* Advocate for the product owner & provide UX/UI feedback based on their requirements during sprint & release reviews.

* Support change management activities including creating and managing product/service release communications.

* Manage process & SDLC documentation, best practices, and "toolkit" for automation product/service process definition and requirements collection.

Key requirements of the role include:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and to work effectively with all organizational levels.

* Strong influencing & group facilitation skills; demonstrated ability to drive varied SMEs to a collective goal.

* Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and the associated tools/applications for these activities.

* Strong knowledge of the principles, concepts, tools, and methods for technical delivery, including Agile delivery & practices, Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps, and waterfall delivery.

* Working knowledge or subject matter expertise across multiple IT areas such as: Cloud, SaaS/PaaS, server infrastructure, IT applications, database, middleware, Unix, Linux, Windows, and network.

* Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision.

* Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks & challenges that are required to influence change.

* Effective consultative and influencing approach.

* Ability to make decisions independently.

* Ability to innovate in new and/or changing conditions.

* Ability to work in a highly concurrent and complex atmosphere.


* BA/BS degree; advanced degree is preferred.

* Ten-plus years of IT experience.

* Five plus years of experience in project and/or service management and delivery.

* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

* Strong knowledge of Agile delivery & practices, business analysis, technical architecture, service management, and project management.

* Strong influencing skills, group facilitation, and ability to drive varied SMEs to a collective goal.

Skills Desired:

* High-level knowledge of AWS Services is desired.

* Experience and knowledge of IT process automation and its methodologies and tools.

* Ability to utilize IT data for business insights.
