  • In this rare opportunity to join CBRE as a Leasing Analyst you will assist Victoria’s Large Format Retail (LFR) Business line within market operations to win and execute business with a focus on the needs of the team to achieve maximum market impact. This will include time management activities to maximise market presence for the agent.Leveraging the CBRE Platform, the role contributes to business development, administers the lease acquisition process, and ensures market analytics inform all leasing activity.The role also supports collaboration opportunities between LFR and the various other business lines within CBRE’s Retail sector.As a Leasing Analyst you will work collaboratively with, and be supported by, the broader Victorian Operations & Support Platform. The Opportunity: Business Development
  • Develop pitch and submission material.
  • Campaign management; setting and monitoring campaign checklists, leasing updates, case study material and co-ordination with marketing team.
  • Develop strong relationships with tenants and landlords.
  • CRM (Salesforce) database management - including data entry (enquiries, contacts, accounts, opportunities), pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
  • Leasing Administration
  • Provide administrative support throughout the lease acquisition process from assistance with heads of agreement through to finalisation of Lease
  • Maintain accurate and compliant lease records and data.
  • Ensure all lease data is consistent and accurate across CBRE’s core systems (incl. Salesforce, MIQ and Finishline).
  • Analysis Support
  • Maintain market share data to compliment leasing data and qualify opportunities.
  • Prepare financial models to support lease acquisition process.
  • Tracking of lease transactions across property and tenant
  • Management of tenant profiles and mandates
  • Management of tenant footprint
  • Management of vacancy schedules
  • Coordination pipeline of transactions and projects including forecasted revenue
  • Prepare leasing reports to meet client requirements.
  • Collaboration
  • Leverage systems, data, people, and internal communications to create meaningful relationships and opportunities across the wider CBRE business.
  • Provide pursuit activity updates to team/sector, leadership groups and Growth Platform partners.
  • Your background:
  • Prior experience in Real Estate required
  • University Degree in Real Estate, Business/Commerce, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Agent Rep and/or Real Estate license required
  • Ability to connect with multiple personalities and create trust quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Technically savvy with solid experience using Salesforce and sales database systems, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams), Outlook, social media
