An exciting 12 month opportunity for an Insurance Coordinator to join our Private Bank.

In this role, you will provide support services to our advisers in the Private Bank by providing end to end processing and implementation of insurance needs. This includes quotes, pre assessment, due diligence, follow-up, application and reviews.

As the Insurance Coordinator, you will:

  • obtain all insurance quotes for advisers from top 3 providers as per research
  • complete retail insurance due diligence and product comparisons
  • complete medical questionnaires and pre-assessments with clients, as required
  • liaise with product providers and underwriting teams as required to assist with and simplify the application process
  • respond to all queries from advisers relating to applications, ad-hoc tasks, ongoing policy maintenance & general product queries
  • ensure client records and policy information is up to date in Xplan
  • maintain relationships with advisers, their support staff and their clients
  • To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • comprehensive and demonstrated working knowledge of personal risk insurance products and implementation
  • excel at developing adviser & client relationships, have a passion for administration and be a reliable and enthusiastic team member
  • proactive, with the ability to problem solve and have the ability to not only work within a team but also autonomously
  • strong communication skills, both verbal and written is essential
  • high attention to detail with the ability to work through a multitude of tasks in a timely manner
  • working knowledge of Xplan and the advice process will also be highly advantageous
